Article Processing Charges (APC)

JECO – Journal of Environmental Comments and Observations is a fully open-access journal. Starting 1 January 2027, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of €800 per manuscript, plus VAT where applicable, will apply to manuscripts accepted for publication. The APC contributes to covering the costs associated with editorial processing, peer review, and online publication. As a token of appreciation for their contribution to the peer-review process, reviewers receive a voucher that can be used to cover part or all of the APC for manuscripts submitted to the journal on which they are listed as an author. Review

JECO adopts a double-blind peer review process, ensuring the confidentiality and anonymity of both authors and reviewers. Reviewers are asked to provide a professional and constructive assessment of the manuscript, following the guidelines provided by the Editorial Office.

As a token of appreciation for their contribution, reviewers receive a voucher for a future publication in JECO.
