Aims of the journal
JECO is an international open-access, double-blind peer review journal dedicated to scientific papers on different aspects of the environment including water and sediment science, marine and freshwater taxonomy, environmental management and control. The main aim is to publish a wide range of data and articles, such as:
- Original research papers.
- Critical reviews.
- Short communications.
- Taxonomic data sets or checklists.
- Environmental monitoring data (also of local interest).
- Data on negative experiments (H0 accepted).
- Educational experiments and school games.
- Comparisons between laboratories.
- Quality control data.
- Errors estimation in sampling and analyses.
Editorial board
Article Processing Charges
All articles published in JECO are made available in full open access. A fee of 800 euros (EUR) is required for articles that are accepted after the peer review process. This fee covers peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and journal operations. After acceptance, invoices will be sent via email to the payment contact specified by the authors. Only invoices issued by BsRC (@bsrc.it) are valid. Local VAT or sales tax may apply. Discounts may be granted directly by the Editor.
